We’re extending our arms to the families and small communities affected by the July 4th, 2025 Hill Country and Guadalupe River flash floods by contributing and sharing trusted ways to support their recovery. Equally Important, long term recovery relief efforts Also informative key roles of these Relief Organizations for the 2025 Flash Flood Recovery. According to Texas state officials, floods caused the Guadalupe River to rise 26 feet in 45 minutes.

* **Recovery Duties:**

* Coordination of local nonprofits and volunteer groups to meet ongoing needs.
* Funding housing repairs, supplies, and rebuilding efforts focused on long-term recovery.
# 2. **American Red Cross – Central and South Texas**
* **Role:** Large-scale disaster relief and recovery agency with strong regional infrastructure.
* **Recovery Duties:**
* Operating emergency shelters and transitional housing.
* Providing disaster case management and mental health support to flood survivors.
* Coordinating blood drives and medical aid for affected communities.
* Supporting multi-phase recovery, including preparedness education for future disasters.
